What is Thermal Marking?
Thermal marking is a technique using laser heat and precision to fuse special ink polymers onto most metal, glass, ceramic and stone surfaces. For use in a wide range of industrial and artistic applications. It differs from the conventional techniques of laser engraving and laser etching, in that it is an additive process. Adding material to the rigid substrate surface, to form a permanently bonded mark instead of removing material, as is done in usual laser processes.
